Hi Gabi

I have no complaints about my current setup. Still using the octo-core and tried to stretch it to the limits, but still, the octo-core is standing the pressure without a sweat.

I already have tried running multiple image instances in Virtual Box (WinXP, Win Server 2008, Ubuntu and Debian) at the same time, and I can't complain. They all run smoothly.

So I think its a good choice going for the octo-core. At the moment I'm still running on 8Gb of RAM and I think it would be a good idea to start with that. But if you find the instances starting to work slow, you can always upgrade to maybe 16 Gb (you still have 4 open slots)

Hi,

Just came across this.

Trying to make the choice myself as to which one to go with.

Will be used primarily for testing VM images and virtual networks.

How are you finding the pro, have you tried running multiple image instances?

Any info really appreciated,

Thanks,
